Provision for the Use of Holidayplanners.co.kr or Koreahotels.co.kr ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ⅰ. Service Details ⅰ) Holiday Planners Tours Services: 1. Provides information on online reservation services on the HolidayPlanners.co.kr or KoreaHotels.co.kr web sites. 2. Reserves hotel and travel products in Korea, if you have applied for one. 3. Other services defined and offered by HQ. Ⅱ. Modification ⅱ) HQ may modify the content of its services in case of inevitable circumstances. ⅲ) Modification happens when the content of services are changed due to the reasons laid out on the web sites, or when HolidayPlanners.co.kr or KoreaHotels.co.kr do not make necessary reparations for damages that you may incidentally incur. There is an exemption to this when it is proven that HQ acted out of malintention or unintentionally committed a serious mistake. Ⅲ. Suspension of Service a. HolidayPlanners.co.kr or KoreaHotels.co.kr, services provided by HQ, can temporarily cease operations during system and equipment repair, check-up, exchange, system malfunction, communication stoppage etc. b. The company is not responsible for the damages inflicted on the user or the third party when services cease due to reasons mentioned in Article 1. There is an exemption when it is proven that HQ acted out of malintention or unintentionally committed a serious mistake. Ⅳ. Rules of Provision Matters not mentioned in this provision should abide by the Basic e-Commerce Law, Electronic Signature Law, Electric Communication Business Law and other related regulations and laws. ===================================================== Policy on Personal Information ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ⅰ. Protection of Personal Information a. HolidayPlanners.co.kr or KoreaHotels.co.kr shall only gather the minimum customer information needed for the hotel and travel product reservation. These are the necessary requirements: 1. Name 2. Country 3. Telephone and mobile number 4. E-mail address 5. Other contact details b. The types of information gathered, reason for such and how such information will be utilized are enumerated below. Apart from these provisions, customer information will not be used for any other purpose: 1. Information for Closing the Service Utilization Contract: - Target information: name, address, and telephone number - To be used for: service subscription, utilization and troubleshooting processes 2. Information on fees: - Target information: name of paying credit card /card number, e-mail addresses - To be used for: billing/payment of utilization fee c. Customer Rights and Exercising Method regarding Personal Information When you would like to withdraw, open up or modify the agreement on the gathering and use of personal information, you may call 080-02-336-3532, e-mail or personally visit the company. d. Utilization and Retention Period of Personal Information You may request modification or deletion of your information at all times, and the HQ will immediately process the request. HQ shall use the gathered personal information only during the contract period of service between HQ and yourself, the customer. After termination, personal information shall be retained for one year, considering the fee adjustment, delay in utilization fee, legal suit based on the fee disputes, etc. e. When the information is needed for executing a contract on online reservations, credit card payments, etc. 3. When the information is needed for settling the reservation fee f. All damages you may incidentally suffer due to a breach in the provisions laid out above shall be compensated by Holiday Planners Tours. This does not apply where false information, omission or error at the time of online reservation is involved. g. Revision in Protection Principle of Personal Information When revisions are necessary for the protection principle of personal information, the company shall post the reasons and revisions on HolidayPlanners.co.kr or at the KoreaHotels.co.kr web site. h. Along with this provision, the protection principle of personal information becomes effective. Ⅱ. Protection of Payment Information a.The following matters shall abide with the individual’s credit payment information so that customers of HolidayPlanners.co.kr or KoreaHotels.co.kr may safely and securely use the online reservation service: 1. The websites use Secure Socket Layer technology or SSL, which encrypts all personal information, thus securing the transmission process from malicious users. 2. Storing such information is made secure via the infiltration blockage system, which has been built into in all types of systems where information is stored. Periodical back up is also done. 3. The company that entered into electronic payments with HQ shall be responsible for anomalies or accidents occurring on individual credit information. Ⅲ. Obligations of HolidayPlanners.co.kr and KoreaHotels.co.kr a. HolidayPlanners.co.kr and KoreaHotels.co.kr shall do its utmost to provide continuous and stable service as defined by the provisions herein. b. HolidayPlanners.co.kr and KoreaHotels.co.kr shall contribute to the growth of e-commerce by optimizing customer satisfaction, providing quality service through continuous development, and by doing its best to maintain order in e-commerce by conducting healthy operations. c. HolidayPlanners.co.kr and KoreaHotels.co.kr shall actively cooperate with consumer protection groups in sharing resources needed for their cause. Ⅳ. Customer Obligations As a Holiday Planners customer, you are prohibited from engaging in the following behavior: 1. Registering false information during application and modification of information. 2. Modifying information posted on the HQ without prior notice. 3. Infringing on intellectual property such as copyright of HQ and other third party’s rights, etc. 4. Disturbing HQ operations. 5. Defaming and disturbing the work of HQ and other third parties. 6. Other behavior deemed inappropriate by HQ. Ⅴ. Others a. Reversion and Limited Use of Copyright 1. HQ takes possession over the intellectual property of the HolidayPlanners.co.kr and KoreaHotels.co.kr websites as operated by Holiday Planners Tours. 2. As a customer, you are not allowed to copy, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast or use in any other way information acquired or produced while using HQ’s services without its prior approval. Such information cannot be used for profit based on other methods, nor be provided to third parties for such uses. Ⅵ. Dispute Resolutions 1.The company will entertain your complaints or suggestions on the use of HolidayPlanners.co.kr and KoreaHotels.co.kr. 2. When your complaints and suggestions are deemed rightful, these will be processed with utmost priority.
